still smiling
We’ve gotten used to talking before we sleep.After turning the lights off, we’d slowly find each other, snuggle, and then talk about our day even if we spent it together.
That’s the highlight of my day – just being with her and having this certainty that I have somebody at the end of the day.
Anyway, there was this one night when she said something spectacular (so what’s new? :) ) and I couldn’t help but smile.
She suddenly asked, “Why are you smiling?”.
I was amazed!
How did she know I was smiling?
The lights were already out.
Then she said,
“Nararamdaman ko kaya…”
she felt my smile in the dark
and answered my unspoken question.
Haaaaaaay! I’m still smiling… :)
